Balboa Park ZEN

Who would have known Lynn was Flipping this. I'm so glad she did, as it put a huge smile on my face to watch Webster maintain ZEN while watching all of these children parade in front of him.

  1. Just LOOK at that beautiful LOOSE leash! Remember this, Karen, when you get discouraged. Remember Webster's beautiful SELF CONTROL amid all those distractions.

  2. I am so delighted that Lynn flipped this so you can see how great you and Webster are doing! I think too it is important that you remember Webster's age! He is a teenage boy to very young man and for him to be able to concentrate at ALL is nothing short of a miracle! Most all dogs go through stages where they lose their focus and need infinite patience and a trainer wiling to stick it out and stay consistent for them to go through that stage and come out on the other side more grounded than ever, more experienced than ever, more trusting than ever and more ready than ever before for the work ahead. You are being that trainer who is being consistent, patient and loving and Webster and all the Marines who have the opportunity to work with him will benefit because of your work and dedication! Reach over your shoulder and pat yourself on the back!
