Shaping Paws on Stool

Rooster's beginning Shaping exercise.

Note the MANY Distractions he encountered; thus, Cathy started over.

Rooster starts again with Shaping his paws on a stool

Rooster continues to be shaped

Then it was Webster's turn

Now Nad takes a turn

on a "Nad-sized" stool

"What do you want me to do Mom?;

pray on the stool? settle on the stool? what? what?"

Then.....
the next morning
we study a video for the next step,
a swing finish

I took my turn with Webster, shaping him to stand on the stool.  It's so fun watching this; every tiny movement toward a paw on the stool is tickling, as you will see.

Just as we're ready to end the session, Web pulls through!
